Making Scripture Accessible to Every Searching Heart
You do not need scholarly pretension or ancient language training to hear God speak. Root to Fruit was born out of a personal struggle to understand the Bible—typing out verses line by line alongside plain-English explanations to help my autistic son and myself make sense of the text. Whether you are opening the Bible for the first time or returning after years away, this sanctuary exists to help you move from feeling stuck to discovering God’s living wisdom for yourself.

I will always be honest in my testimony, even if I get frowned upon. God does not desire dishonesty. King David wrote poems about his despair and sin (Psalm 51), and Paul spoke openly about his weaknesses – sharing his "root" (struggles) to highlight the "fruit" (God's work).
Learning
I write these posts not as one who has arrived, but as a disciple leaning daily into the grace of God. The journey from the root of baptism to the fruit of blessing is a process of growth, and I am acutely aware that I am still a "work in progress." I invite you to walk this path with me – not just as readers, but as spiritual companions. I welcome your wisdom, your prayers, and even your gentle correction in love. As Proverbs says, "Iron sharpens iron," and I hope that by sharing my walk, we can sharpen one another, learning together how to abide more fully in the True Vine.
Community
Scripture reminds us to look out for those quietly standing on the edge. There are already enough barriers between people and God without Christians unintentionally creating more. Whoever you are, and wherever you find yourself on your journey of faith, you are warmly welcome here.
