ISAIAH: CHAPTER 34

Isaiah Chapter 34 describes God's furious judgement against all nations, especially focusing on Edom (also called Idumea). The chapter paints a vivid picture of widespread destruction, where armies are wiped out, the land is soaked with blood, and even the heavens seem to collapse. This severe punishment is described as God's vengeance for the wrongs done to Zion. The land targeted for judgement will become a permanent, burning wasteland, fit only for wild animals and birds of prey, serving as a lasting sign of God's complete and final wrath.
