MICAH: CHAPTER 3

Micah Chapter 3 strongly condemns the corrupt leaders, false prophets, and priests of Israel and Judah. The prophet Micah accuses them of exploiting the people, twisting justice, and seeking personal gain rather than truth. He warns that because of their wickedness, when they cry out to God, He will not answer them. Micah contrasts his own genuine, Spirit-empowered message with the deceitful prophecies of those who mislead the people. The chapter concludes with a severe pronouncement of judgement: Jerusalem, including its holy Temple Mount, will be completely destroyed and laid to waste because of their sins.
