PSALMS: CHAPTER 73

This chapter tells the personal story of a man named Asaph who struggled deeply with his faith. He felt confused and nearly gave up because he saw wicked people living easy, rich lives without any problems, while he, who tried to live right, faced constant difficulties. He envied their apparent success and questioned if trying to be good was even worth it. However, when he went to God's holy place, he suddenly understood that the wicked's success was temporary and would end in a sudden, terrifying downfall. This realisation changed everything for him, bringing him back to firmly trust in God. He concludes by saying that being close to God is the best thing he could ever have, and God is his strength and guide forever.
