ISAIAH: CHAPTER 45

This chapter of Isaiah reveals that God is completely in charge of everything, even using people who don't know Him to accomplish His plans. He specifically names Cyrus, a future non-Jewish king, saying He will help Cyrus conquer powerful nations and open cities for him, all so that His people, Israel, can be freed and everyone will know that the Lord is the one and only God. The chapter emphasises that God created the entire world and everything in it, including light and darkness, peace and trouble. He warns against questioning His actions, just as clay can't question the potter. He promises that Israel will be saved forever and that eventually, everyone on Earth will acknowledge Him as the only true God and Saviour.
