ECCLESIASTES: CHAPTER 12

This final chapter of Ecclesiastes strongly encourages young people to remember their Creator and live thoughtfully before the challenges of old age and the certainty of death arrive. It uses poetic imagery to describe the ageing process and the inevitability of life's end, emphasising that everyone will eventually return to God, who gave them life. The chapter concludes the entire book by stating that the ultimate and most important lesson for humanity is to respect God and keep His commands, because He will eventually review everything we do, both openly and in secret, judging whether it was good or bad.
