1 THESSALONIANS: CHAPTER 4

This chapter from Paul's letter to the Thessalonians covers two important topics. First, Paul encourages the believers to keep growing in a lifestyle that truly honours God. He reminds them to stay away from sexual wrongdoing, treat everyone with honesty and respect, work diligently with their own hands, and live peacefully so they can be good examples to others. Second, Paul addresses questions and concerns about what happens to Christians who die before Jesus returns. He reassures them not to be sad like those who have no hope, explaining that when Jesus comes back, those who have died believing in Him will rise first. Then, the believers who are still alive will join them, and together they will all be with the Lord forever. The chapter concludes with a message of comfort and hope based on these future events.
