AMOS: CHAPTER 4

Amos Chapter 4 delivers a powerful warning to the wealthy women of Samaria, calling them "cows of Bashan" for their luxurious lifestyle and oppression of the poor. The chapter highlights a series of past judgements God sent upon Israel – including famine, drought, crop destruction, plagues, and military defeats – all designed to make them turn back to Him. However, Israel ignored these warnings and refused to repent. Because of their stubbornness, God announces that further judgement is inevitable, urging them to prepare to face their all-powerful Creator.
