EXODUS: CHAPTER 39

This chapter details the completion of the priestly garments and the final assembly of the Tabernacle's components, all made precisely according to God's detailed instructions given to Moses. It describes the skilled craftspeople fashioning the elaborate ephod and breastplate with their precious stones, representing the twelve tribes of Israel. It also covers the creation of the blue ephod robe with its decorative bells and pomegranates, as well as the other sacred tunics, turbans, and sashes for Aaron and his sons. The chapter culminates with the people presenting all the finished elements of the Tabernacle – from the main tent structure and its furnishings to every piece of priestly attire – to Moses. Moses then carefully inspected every item, confirmed that everything had been done exactly as the Lord commanded, and blessed the people.
