JOEL: CHAPTER 3

Joel Chapter 3 describes a future time when God promises to restore His people, Judah and Jerusalem, who were scattered and mistreated by other nations. God declares He will gather all the nations in a specific valley to judge them severely. Their judgement will be for how they harmed His chosen people, plundered their land, and even sold their children into slavery. He promises to swiftly repay these nations for their actions. The chapter then dramatically calls for all nations to prepare for a great, decisive battle, describing it as a divine harvest where God will judge their wickedness. It concludes with a vision of cosmic disturbances signalling the "Day of the Lord," a time when God will be a secure hope for Israel, Jerusalem will be made holy, and Judah will experience incredible prosperity, while the nations that oppressed them will face utter desolation.
