ZECHARIAH: CHAPTER 10

Zechariah chapter 10 urges God's people to seek Him directly for all their needs, especially for vital blessings like rain, instead of relying on false gods or fortune-tellers who provide empty advice. The chapter describes God's anger towards unfaithful leaders who have scattered His flock. However, He promises to personally intervene, strengthen His people—both Judah (the southern kingdom) and Israel (represented by Joseph and Ephraim)—and make them mighty in battle. God declares He will gather His scattered people from distant lands, even performing miracles similar to the Exodus to bring them home, while also bringing down the power of their oppressors. Ultimately, the chapter emphasises that their true strength and success will come from their unwavering trust in the Lord alone.
