EZEKIEL: CHAPTER 47

Chapter 47 of Ezekiel describes a remarkable vision of a life-giving river flowing from the new Temple. The prophet watches as the river begins as a small stream, gradually deepening into an impassable body of water as it flows eastward. This miraculous river brings healing and vitality wherever it goes, transforming the Dead Sea into a flourishing body of water teeming with fish and supporting lush, fruit-bearing trees along its banks. The chapter concludes with a detailed outline of the future boundaries of the land of Israel, which is to be divided among the twelve tribes, including a special provision for foreign residents to receive an inheritance alongside native Israelites.
